AFRO WARRIORS are Angolan DJs and producers: Dr.Renas (Renato Silva) and DJ Bráulio Silva (Bráulio Silva). Together they decided to create a musical project entitled Afro Warriors making Afro House, Deep House and Soulful music.
Dr Renas has released such tracks as “Dakalo” featuring the South African group Afrikan Roots and also a Compilation entitled “For The Love of Afro House”. Bráulio Silva started his career when he was 17 at “DJs SOCIEDADE” where he grew his professional skills as a DJ. But after only one year together as ‘Afro Warriors’ they had success around the world with “On My Way” featuring the Angolan Vocalist Anabela Aya, “Buya” featuring Afrikan Roots and vocalist Vumile (all South Africans), released by D.M Recordings
“Uyankenteza” featuring the well known South African Vocalist Toshi, was released by Tribe Records in May 2016 and since then Afro Warriors have been working on an Album featuring the likes of Dicklas One, Kanda, Kamuputu Project, Lipsia, Afro Zone, Bamfumo, Afrikan Roots, Kaysha, Uhuru, Busiwa, Toshi, BK, DJ Micks, Vumile, Charlene Lai, Thula (Muungu Africa). The album is due in 2017.
"Yaka" is their latest release on Tribe with an original and instrumental mix – a blend of soulful and afro house.
