DJeff Afrozila, was born at a cultural crossroads. From Lisbon, Portugal, but brought up by his father from Cape Verde and his mother from Angola.
In 2008 he began presenting a TV show called Made In Angola and in 2010 put out his first release, creating his own label – Kazukuta Records in 2011 – a home for his music and for new African talents – importantly it was also the first electronic music label from Angola. His first album “Soldier Ascension” contained tracks played and remixed by several artists, with support from Tony Humphries, Boddhi Satva, Mr. V and Rancido, among others and in 2015 he performed a set for Boiler Room and took on a bimonthly radioshow for Portugal’s national radio station Mega Hits.
‘Keep On Smiling’ is a collaboration with Tumelo - one of South Africa’s most talented vocalists whose debut album ‘Arise and Shine’ was nominated in the Best Dance Album category at the South African Music Awards. This release comes with an original and instrumental Mix.
