Tribe Records is proud to present a package of remixes of a fresh tune by UK-based music writer and producer Mangesto along side rising-star Ayesha Roberts from the UK whom we are delighted to welcome to Tribe.

Mangesto was raised in Southern Africa and came to the UK to study. Like many students who have a deep love of music, he began DJing and this gradually led him towards writing and producing his own music. In 2010 he first worked with the singer Ashya Roberts on Love Like This, and they teamed up again to release Slow on Phil Asher's Restless Soul label in 2011. He's also had releases in Italy, the US and Africa while working with the likes of Inaya Day, Bradford James and Toto. In 2012 Mangesto called Ashya once again, and she performs the yearning, sweet soulful vocals for Run Away that feature on the original Vocal Mix. 

Ezel delivers a vocal mix that starts out with the sound of cicadas on a hot summer night, introduces a fat tribal drum beat and builds a sophisticated soundscape of xylophone, traditional instruments and electronic loops which allow room for the vocal to shine. 

Mangestos Lounge Mix is driven along on a pounding heartbeat yet beautifully balances the yearning vocals, jazzy piano touches and a kazoo-style riff which feels like it shouldn't work in a Lounge mix, but definitely does.

Last but not least the package is complete with a remix from renowned South African DJ/Producer DJ Qness.
